Action Required from The Company to Achieve Carbon Neutral Society and Circular Economy
White Data Center Inc. (https://corp.wdc.co.jp/) will hold a free online seminar on July 7th (Thu).
In order to achieve carbon neutrality in 2050,companies and local governments are working on global warming countermeasures, not only focusing on reducing CO2 emissions, but also on collecting and recycling CO2. Therefore, Masashi Taketani, Deputy Director for Environment and Economy Division at the Ministry of the Environment, Japan, will be invited as a speaker to give a lecture on issues and efforts to achieve carbon neutral society, such as “carbon pricing”, which is currently gathering attention.

Masashi Taketani, Deputy Director for Environment and Economy Division at the Ministry of the Environment, Japan
Profile:
Joined the Ministry of the Environment in 2003.
He worked in Minister’s Secretariat General Affairs/Secretarial Division,
United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (Bonn, Germany),
Environmental Strategy Division (responsible for reviewing Basic Environment Plan and support for local decarbonization),
Nuclear Regulation Authority.He’s been in charge of policy planning on carbon pricing at the Environment and Economy Division, Minister’s Secretariat since January 2021.
