Thinking About Achieving Carbon Neutral in 2050

A free online seminar will be held on September 16th (Thu) to commemorate the founding of White Data Center Inc. (https://corp.wdc.co.jp/).

Due to recent climate change and extreme weather events, the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, including CO2, is becoming an urgent issue. The latest report of the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) also announced a new prediction that the global average temperature would rise by 1.5 degrees by 2040, which is 10 years earlier than the previous prediction. The acceleration of carbon neutrality is indispensable, and in order to achieve carbon neutral society we’re inviting Shuhei Kaneko, Deputy Director of Carbon Neutrality Project Promotion Office, Environmental Policy Division, Industrial Science and Technology Policy and Environment Bureau, Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry as speaker to discuss issues that companies may face in the future.
